Could hypnotherapy unlock confidence and skills you never even knew you had?

Have you ever sat there and wondered why you’re just not achieving all those things you want to do?

  • Hitting career milestones.
  • Boosting confidence
  • Breaking habits

Here at Glint, hypnotherapy is one of a variety of different tools we use that are designed to support you in moving forward, dealing with change, getting focused, or sorting out whatever it is that’s been holding you back for all these years. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that we all prefer to work in different ways, so by having a variety of tools available to use, we can find the best way to support you, rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach.

Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool to overcoming limiting beliefs, but it gets a lot of bad press because it’s often portrayed as some kind of mystical art…. Well, STOP PRESS, hypnosis (or trance; they’re both exactly the same thing) is a perfectly natural state that we all go into every single day of our lives! It’s part of our normal sleep-wake pattern, so if you’ve woken up, or gone to sleep today, you’ll have passed through the trance/hypnotic state at some point in that process.

And what’s more, if you’ve ever got engrossed in a book or film, drifted off with your thoughts and daydreams, or gone onto auto-pilot whilst you’ve been driving, yes, you guessed it, you’ve been doing it again!

With hypnotherapy, all we’re doing is taking you into that state, in a controlled manner, so that we can work on the specific issues that you want to address. Often I work with clients who have deep-seated confidence and anxiety problems that affect them in their everyday lives.

Do these feelings sound familiar?

  • Something’s holding me back in my career
  • Something’s stopping me from living a fulfilling life
  • Anxiety, or panic attacks are crippling me emotionally

All too often, it’s a combination of these!

I’m particularly reminded of 2 apparently very successful and confident clients. Both enjoyed impressive management careers and were highly regarded by their teams, peers and employers. And then they hit a glass ceiling. They could see the next step on their career paths, but were suddenly crippled by insecurities, anxiety and low self-esteem, to the extent that they were no longer able to function effectively in their roles and shied away from situations where they had to present material that they had been working on for months and years.

The great thing about hypnotherapy is that it works surprisingly quickly in most cases. So, in just a few sessions, both clients were able to address the underlying issues that were holding them back and got themselves back on track, knowing that they had lots of new tools and strategies available should they ever have any wobbly moments in the future.

For me, confidence is something that we portray outwardly, almost like putting on a dress, or suit. Anxiety and self-esteem happen on the inside. This means that people can regard you as being very confident and self-assured, even though you may feel like curling up and dying on the inside. I know; I’ve been there!

So, if you have big plans for 2022 then it’s time you stopped thinking about other people and turned your attention to your own needs for a while. Pick up the phone, or whizz me an email – I’m always happy to chat.

At Glint, we believe people are happier, more inspired
and more successful when they can be themselves
